Lostprophets es una banda galesa de emo/metal alternativo formada en 1997. Su primer album, The Fake Sound Of Progress, fue originalmente grabado en Inglaterra por el sello independiente Visible Noise, y luego re-masterizado por la gigante Columbia Records en Estados Unidos, aunque ellos continúan hasta el día de hoy con su primera casa discográfica. Lanzaron su álbum Start Something en el año 2004, obteniendo grán éxito comercial, y su último y más reciente álbum a la fecha, Liberation Transmission, en el 2006. Ambos han logrado gran éxito en Europa y Estados Unidos. Ellos lanzaron, también, varios demos en sus primeros años, ninguno de ellos producido comercialmente.
